Welcome to my web site

Most of this site is devoted to three of my major interests: aviation, photography, and motorcycles. Early on, I prepared for a career as a photographer. I eventually choose aviation, but never lost my interest in photography.
In 1968 after three years in the United States Army, I was fortunate to get a job with a major airline on the West Coast. I left the home in Texas where I had grown up and moved to Los Angeles.
In 2002 after 34 years as an airline pilot, I retired to a little valley by the sea mid way between L.A. and Santa Barbara. I now spend my days catching up on the things I never had time to do while I was working for a living.
This web site consists mostly of photographs with brief captions. I think most people will enjoy the photographs more than my comments, which I have tried to keep to a minimum.
